I read an article today about a Russian political party called the Motherland that is coming under attack for airing xenophobic adds which seemingly attack people in the Caucaus region. One leader in the party made an interesting comment asking (and I paraphrase from memory) that if their party was in America they would be Republicans and last time he checked Republicans weren't fascists. I guess fascists might be a bit harsh, but they're working at it. All joking aside, the party could pose a serious threat in elections and that is what is truly scary.
